    MacCana, how do you make a deep little floor for a coop? My coop has just been finished but my little chicks are 3 weeks so they wont be out for a while. I'm very interested in trying this method out. Any tips? Thank you

    Salmon Faverolles "pullet" starting to feather black...

    Thank you for that news SpringPeeper! I bought three faverolles - 2 pullets and 1 roo. The girls when they first grew feathers in were looking dark but now as they grow more are looking lighter and more pink. Does that mean they will be lighter colored faverolles fully grown? What do you think?

    Here are pics of my two little fainting goats. Axl is the brown tricolor and Slash is the black and white one. They love to sit on my deck and look out. Also, when I come out they fight over who gets to sit on mommy's lap

    I have 2 EE, 2 silver cuckoo marans, 2 golden cuckoo marans, 2 salmon faverolles, and 2 buff brahmas bantams. Then I have 1 salmon faverolle roo and 1 welsummer bantam roo To protect my lovely ladies.

    Keesmom, what are your favorelles like to eachother? Mine so far (as of 1 day) are kinda ruling the brooder. They keep pecking other chicks while they sleep and jumping on them. They are sweet to me though.
