The olive oil seemed to help some but not much. Her vent is not usually stuck shut. I just can't get her skin clean of the crusty stuff no matter what I try. So thought maybe it's scabs?
Help please, 6 new chicks are 2 weeks old. A Mystic Onyx has had pasty butt with some constipation almost daily. Eats and drinks well, seems fine otherwise but vent appears swollen. Her skin is black so can't see any redness. I've cleaned several times daily and used vaseline for the last week...
