    How do you guys keep your flock of different birdies all cool in the hot summer states? Ice water and produce- ok; how about the coop?

    What did you do in the garden today?

    I'm usually am just a reader but have to ask how you keep the worms off your corn or are they not a problem. We just can't get rid of them, nor the squash bugs, cucumber beetles , and this year aphids have taken over the whole garden.

    Do your chickens always go to the coop at night?

    I have one or 2 in a small coop that sleep on their outdoor roost occasionally, it is enclosed in a run. All in our large coop go inside every night.
