Easter Egger? Pullet with a red comb, or Cockerel?

This is Marvin. I have every reason to believe that she's a pullet except her comb is awfully red. Compared to Chickie (bottom pic) I am now wondering if she is maybe a he. Any thoughts? Got them from TSC and was told they were Ameraucanas so I assume they're actually Easter Eggers?

Two week old chick with bubbly eyes and sneezing

Thanks for your help. Turned out to be nothing, in the end.

Both Wyandottes? One Cockerel, I think? One month old.

We got these "girls" a month ago. We're quite certain that Domino (black feathers, left) is a Cockerel and George (right) a pullet. Domino has a bright red comb and wattles and his feathers have formed completely different than all the other chicks. His tail feathers are just now coming in and...

Two week old chick with bubbly eyes and sneezing

We bought seven chicks from TSC two weeks ago. Today I noticed one of them is sneezing and has bubbles in the corners of her eyes. TSC only had small flake pine bedding so that's what they're using. They recommended large flake but they didn't tell me why. Is she likely just irritated from the...

Too many roos and now one is injured. What to do?

I have 12 birds (coturnix). 3 are male. This number seemed high but they were getting along great until the six week mark when I noticed that they were on edge, sometimes chasing each other around and crowing at 3am. This morning my smallest roo has a dime sized bloody spot on the back of his...

Found a free cage. How should I set it up?

I realized the first two panels open up, not just the middle.

Found a free cage. How should I set it up?

We found this cage on the side of the road, free. The box next to it is not currently attached. The wire cage had been set up with ramps (as a 3 story cage) and was standing on its end. The front/middle panel opens up. My eggs just hatched and we have 13 chicks. Without knowing the sex of...

Pipped 7 hours ago bht no progress from there. I think my water pots are going to dry up. What do I

What a crazy few days it has been. I finally had a bird hatch and I really thought she was the only survivor. 24 hours later and she was still a lone bird. One was clearly dead in its shell, beak exposed. I was so sad. Finally things started happening! Out of the 17 eggs I had shipped, 9 have...

Pipped 7 hours ago bht no progress from there. I think my water pots are going to dry up. What do I

Filling the water pot in my Brinsea Mini Eco would take less than ten seconds. I can't see if there's a little in the bottom or not, but I know it's close based on how fast it was going away when I could see it. Do I risk opening or not? My eggs started pipping last night and no progress has...

should I stop turning my eggs if they are wobbling?

I am hatching coturnix quail eggs. I am supposed to turn the eggs through tomorrow (day 14) and was going to start lockdown the morning after but my eggs have been pretty wobbly today and I read that they're starting to get into position. I'm wondering if I may have a slightly early hatch and I...

hatch date approaching. questions about lockdown and feed

Also, my brinsea eco mini came with no cover cap. This was the best I could come up with that didn't seem to mess with humidity. Should I try harder? I don't wanna drown the poor little bumblebees.
