    Chicken walks like a duck

    I have a 10 week old Rhode Island Red pullet that walks like a duck. Not sure what is happening to her. Any suggestions?

    I'll be moving my 8 hens to a new location which has an aviary the previous owners have used for their pigeons. Will that be safe for my girls or would it present the possibility of disease.

    I found my chicken injured today. Missing feathers on her side and a gaping wound in her crop area of her chest. It looks like a blob of fat in the opening. She has been drinking and eating and also layed an egg today. Not sure what to do about her wound. Its hidden well under her feathers...

    Thank you for the warm welcome! I tried the Epsom salt in warm water for my chicken. She drank lots. I also tried holding her upside down while massaging her crop and she started vomiting. Did that about 10 separate times throughout the day. Works good. Hoping she is better tomorrow.
