What happened to my Mallard!!
Yes looks like he is a crested. Just like Duck Mommy said it's a genetic flaw, most ducklings pass away who have it. Your boy should be fine though. My male Pekin is a crested and is 3 years old now 😊- Jillybean33

Female duck aggressor
I personally just went through a similar situation, couldn't find any advise online. So what I did worked! I took the aggressive female out of the main containment and put her in a tall dog run type pen and put her right by the main coop. What do you get when you cross a Black Swedish with a Pekin?
