    Buff Brahma - Pullet/Roo? Thoughts?

Here's Mabel... or Clark? 16 week old hatchery Buff Brahma. Has large waddles (compared to my other Brahmas of same age) but they haven't really grown in 4-6 weeks?! Hoping for a pullet, roos aren't allowed - bummer, because this one is a sweetie! No other notable rooster characteristics, but...

    Lavender Orpingtons.... 9wks. Sexing!?!

I've decided two things.... 1. I have little skill in sexing chickens... At some point I've been convinced every member of my flock was a rooster?! 2. Chickens are hard to photograph... Lol... Brahmas - Pullet or Roo?

Thanks, everyone for your feedback! Good to hear that they're looking "pullet" for now! These two have the friendliest personalities of all so it's nice to know they may not have to go to the farm!

    Brahmas - Pullet or Roo?

Any thoughts on my Light and Buff Brahmas? They "belong" to my sons and I'd like to wean them off of any "roo love"/attachment sooner than later. We can't have roosters "in town" and they're quite fond of their ladies "Maude" and "Iris"... they're almost 7 weeks. Appreciate the feedback, thanks!

Brooder - To Coop - To Run? so confused :)

Thanks so much for the replies! It's easy to become "paranoid" when reading SO much... You read/hear "never before 8 weeks", "lock them up for 3"... glad to know I'm not rushing things! I'm sure my chicks will enjoy your feedback too as they can have some 4th of July freedom of their own! Thanks...

Brooder - To Coop - To Run? so confused :)

My 6 week chicks & 4 week chicks recently got moved to the coop from their brooder. Right now I have them locked in the coop with a heat lamp (for now) and no access to their run.... Do I really have to keep them cooped-up? It's summer, in the 80s during the day and I'll keep the lamp in the...
