    When i took that pic, the chick was moving and peeping. I just checked in on the chick about 15 minutes ago, and its out of the shell! Its leg is sticking out a bit to the side though.

    thank you for your response, its very reassuring I was worried it'd be in a bad spot, but now I feel better. I will keep an eye on the chick and make sure the rest goes smoothly though. thanks again!

    Help needed, im not sure what to do here For context, we had to separate a hen from eggs she was sitting on, because she was attacking chicks as soon as they hatched. We had put the eggs we took in the same container as the hurt chicks we were trying to save (unfortunately they didn't make it)...
