We have 10 chickens and every so often one or two of them will literally stand on the back of another, pushing it into the ground while pecking at it. This seems like pretty extreme behavior!! Anyone ever see this behavior??
That is exactly what ours looked like! I was so stressed ove it, but it turned out to be normal. Our 10 chickens are thriving, although they do tend to gang up on one another at times. They are about 10 months old now.
Have you figured anything out about the bald spot? I have one 2 week old chick with two symetrical bald spots under her wings along the side of her body. If the wings are in their natural position, you can't see the spots, but when she moves her wings, I can see them. Maybe 1/2 inch wide and 2-3...
