    you no your addicted to chickens when.... you spend all day clearing the garden so the girls can come out and play and mess it up again, my DH just love them for it lol.

    thanks for your reply, they are all mostly off white colour. I think it could be down to the temperature in the house as it has been quiet cold, i have read on this thread that mealworm no need a warm temperatures! Its still early spring although the last couple of days the temp has gone up...

    I have loads of pupae who have not turned into beetles and we are in our 4th / 5th week of my farm could they be dead, or is it still to cold here, its spring and has not been that warm ? I keep looking hoping they have hatched into beetles but still nothing. Advice please thanks Julie

    New to all this - 3 hens in my backyard coop

    personally I feed my girls layer pellets 24/7 and give them treats maybe twice a day. Chickens need a balance nutritional diet which mine get from their pellets plus greens. I am still very new to chicken other on here have far more experience than I do. Good luck with your girls x

    just finished read all your messages, oh so funny i can can relate toooooo oh so many of them lol. When i was looking for a new coop my DH found me looking at summerhouses as I cooed over them for the girls, I wont repeat on here what he said.....Bad DH.
