    Hmmm, we did have a number of feral cats several months ago when the ducks were only a few weeks old. We managed to get rid of most or all of them. We haven't seen a cat in a while.

    You may be on to something here with the mold. The ducks scatter some of the feed on the ground around the feeder, and I have seen this feed mold in the dirt immediately following wet weather. I've also noticed that when the feeder is empty or near so, some of the ducks will scoop up the fresh...
