Our girl has started raspy breathing earlier today. She typically lays eggs, she just started this about 4 hours ago. Everything I have come across on this site, and google, I haven't seen something that lines up. Are there any suggestions or a site that you'd suggest checking out.
Thank you...
Hi all! We bought a BR chick and a Lavender Orpington roo. Well upon pick up the roo’s eyes have been sealed shut. I showed the store snd we are waiting for a call back. However, does anyone know if a hick can peck out another chicks eyes or would his eyes be sealed shut from injury?

It was just suggested that maybe this is happening during a growth spurt and it’s the joints and bones stretching during the growth.
Still looking for a vet that sees geese. 🥴
We bought these from metzger farms. We’ve noticed something’s been off since day one, but we are new to this. We thought it was vitamins, so we upped vitamins, yeast, and now my husband is currently building a bigger brooder.
I’ll see if we can do a vet, I’ll start looking.
Our almost 3 week Embden, has been limping off and on the last two days. We give them Niacin and from
Research we may need to get a vitamin B complex.
The knee pops or makes a noise when the gosling is walking. This is our first time with geese, this is our bigger one. We think it’s the male.
We are feeding the scratch and peck starter feed with nutritional yeast and grit mixed, greens brought in about 3x a day and water with niacin (& electrolyte boost from the hatchery).
We have two Embden goslings and have noticed one of them seem to favor their left leg. Any insight?
His wings have also become raw in the in this time as well.
We have been looking for weeds that’s are high in niacin! Our local feed store has some supplements but they have a ton of filler and artificial additives.
We have two 7 day old embden goslings in a brudder and we’ve noticed a few things. We need help tips, or direction please.
- our male gosling had his left foot turned in a bit, and is currently (day 7) not eating much. Female is eating well, but the male is off to the side shaking his head.

Hello! I have a question for those who live in a place with pretty cold winters. We are in zone 5b and it regularly can be -10° - -20° or more (sometimes days in a row). I would like to know if the chickens will be safe and warm in there if we paired it up with an electric fence.
Thank you in...
