I'm a mom to 3 very busy school aged children and wife to a very busy man with a full time job of my own... so in the past when my crew asked for chickens, I always replied, "No way, we are too busy". Enter COVID-19 and they asked and I thought, "Why not??" and got us a few. So I guess that puts me squarely in the group they've labeled "chicken hoarders" lol. Truth is the time just seemed right since we are home and it could be a great adventure to have together. With any luck by the time this craziness is over we will know what the heck we are doing, our coop will be running like a well-oiled machine, and we'll have fresh eggs being made daily in our backyard... just in time for life to get really busy again!
