Out of 30, I have 11 left, of those 5 are currently in "sick bay" taking Oil of Oregano and Xango. Symptoms of this disease started at 2 weeks of age. Prior to that we lost several to a pneumonia-like disease. Those that are thriving are ALL dark-legged...

Our birds arrived on 3/3 so that explains alot. Thank you for the information. I'm leaving now to go get Terramycin. I know others in our 4-H club have tried it, with little result, but it's worth a try.

regarding the "leg issues", as an experienced 4-H chick-raising family, we thought we were seeing leg issues too..... I'm worried you've got what our chicks have. I don't know if we can (or will be able to) save any of our chicks from this awful plague, but considering it a leg issue...
FunnyFarm, I am also from SE WI Twin Lakes, Kenosha Co) with the same problem. I haven't made any calls yet. Have you contacted your county extension office, etc? Just want to know who NOT to call because it's already been done.
