    New Chicken Owner.....Need Help with breed and sex if possible

    Not sure, but I think the one on the left is a rooster and the one on the right is a hen. Any ideas? They are about a week apart. Also anyone know what kind of chickens they are? Or should I just call them "yard chickens"? These were free from a friend, and a good introduction to chickens...

  6. A better view of the two. A friend gave us these as probably 2 week old chicks. The smaller one on the right got attacked by the one on the left while in the cage a few weeks ago. Since they have been outside and in the coop, the get along just fine.
