Actually worked out ok. I got about 7 new hens and they've just kinda become fodder for the rooster. He doesn't mess with the pullets now that He's "occupied"
It's become apparently clear I'm going to have to predator proof my chicken area as I've lost 2 chickens in a week. I already have a fence so looking to put up predator netting over a LARGE area. Any recommendations? I've seen a few on Amazon but reviews aren't great.

dang. I just got another rooster thinking I didn't have any. Now might have to get rid of one. When I put them together the little one tried to fight the big one I got that's full grown.
