Just had to say it. I sure do like not having to open my new bator, but I think my wife likes it more since she doesnt have to wait at the house to turn the eggs while im at work.
Wow checkforticks I cant belive they want $100.00 for a pair I would have never thought they would be that much. Maybe I sould just catch some of those wild Dallas pidgeons LOL
I bought a little giant incubator and was wondering is it supposed to have some sort of knob for the temp? All mine has is a white stem comeing up from the circut board. Sure was easy to get the temp set though.
When I was Younger and bought chicks at the feed store in my town , the owner showed me to hold the chicks upside down by their legs and if they fought to get up they were a roo and if they just hung there limp they were a hen. It worked pretty well probably 80%
OK I went and bought a second bator ( an LG with turner) to help solve the problem of different hatch dates. BUT>>>>> I was given 30 more guinea eggs and 19 more BR eggs, so I guess Im gonna have to get a third bator. WHO CAN LET GOOD EGGS GO TO WAIST.
I have 31 more to go, Some are BR and some are guinea!
I was supposed to have 5 br hatch out I don't think the other 3 are gonna hatch out! I screwed up and I added eggs So I have several hatch days. Newbie mistake!
