3 babies hatched by broody hen, pullets or roo? Breeds?
I purchased fertile barnyard mix eggs for my broody hen, she hatched 3 august 27. Any ideas if pullets or cockerels or breed mixes? Oh how cute! I haven’t cracked mine yet I can see a yolk thru the soft shell one I’m guessing the hard one will have a yolk too.- Joannemwit1

Thank you! That’s what I assumed also. the lady that sold them to me at TSC said they are a fairly new cross breed, picture attached from a hatchery about them. So far they are much friendlier and docile than my EE’s and they don’t bully like the EE’s.- Joannemwit1

I have 4 16 week old pullets purchased from TSC as Sagitta’s, I found 2 tiny eggs this morning one was soft shelled the other was hard shelled but covered in tissue/membrane? Is it normal they would start laying this soon and should I be worried about the egg that was covered in the membrane...- Joannemwit1
