I have 14 Orpingtons- 5 are Chocolates, 5 are Lavender Cuckoo, and 4 are the Isabel coloration. Got them all at the same time from a breeder as day old chicks. Out of the flock I have two roosters that so far get along, though there was a change in pecking order. I have two hens that crow too, although one isn’t very good at it and sounds like a heavy smoker. I also have a runt Isabel who had vent gleet that we treated and has never relapsed, however her size was affected and is at least half the size of the others. She does very well though, and is not the lowest ranked hen.
