^^^ last bit there, LOL same. It would still probably be the case with me, but since I was sort of relaying the quail on to the farm I got the eggs from, I only had them for about two weeks. They are still at the farm now, coming up on a near month of age!
Air ventilation is also crucial. Make sure there is airflow within the incubator with the fan that it comes with (with the open ventilation holes). Just keep an eye on humidity when doing this.

I sort of have the same thing going. So far the brooder I have has a 'main' box with food, plenty of betting, and a 75watt heat lamp (they are chicks). On the outskirts of the box it is darker, and there is also styrofoam cup (which they don't really show interest in) if they care...
