    Even if the water temp is kept above freezing and the water is kept moving with a pump? I don't have an issue with my rabbits as long as they're protected from a breeze. But the nipples could be different and the breath from the rabbits might thaw the nipples enough to keep working.

    I'm brand new to raising quail and I would also like to know what to do about the watering in the winter. For my rabbits, I use a bird bath deicer and a small circulatory pump. Will this set up work for quail while using the push in style watering nipples?

    The reason for the desire to raise ducks is that my son is allergic to chicken eggs. His reaction to Quail is not as bad, but he has no problems with duck eggs. Thanks for letting me know about the noise. That could be an issue.

    I am looking forward to learning from all of you. I do not have anything other than some meat rabbits currently, but I plan to raise quail and ducks. I am in Michigan and live in the city. I am hoping my neighbors don't get too upset with me. Tips and tricks would be appreciated.
