    Time for the meaties - who should I order from?

    At various times, I've ordered from McMurray, Mt Healthy and Townline (closest to me). While I like McMurray's website, I have to say Mt Healthy's birds outgrew everyone else's over time.

    Dog's first exposure to escaped chicks!

    I have a dog that I wouldn't trust alone with the chickens for a heartbeat but when they get out, he's a great help. I say "Get 'em" and he'll hold one down with his paws until I can grab it.
