    That is exactly what my wife and I need to hear. We were both worried that the last 14 weeks was a wast of time:O)... How long before they start to lay eggs?..And thanks for all the help so far you have been great.

    They were all supposed to be females. But the one large "Hen" started to look suspicious a few weeks ago. They are aprox 12 weeks old give or take.

    My wife and I purchased these RiR from the feed store. We have one obvious roo, but the rest we are unsure of. Apparently where we purchased the chickens the guy has sold all roo's to people in the past, we are looking for eggs and this is our 1st time owning chickens.

    I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the sex and breed of my geese:) My wife and I think they are africans but we are not sure. We have no idea of the sex, but i think they are male because the white duck is a male and he follows the 2 bigger geese around.

    runny poop

    What would make thier poop runny and not solid... Nerves perhaps or bad food? I am feeding them the same stuff the feed store was. they are 1 to 1 1/2 weeks old african geese

    Its not medicated...I made sure of that. They feed store guy sold me the same thing that he feeds them. I hope he has the right stuff...I will go to TSC and pick up game feed 1st thing in the morning

    I keep them in a basket, on the table upstairs in the balcony, I handle them all the time, he was not an outside goose so to speak....I am not quite sure how old but if i had to guess, 3 weeks at the most
