    I have a white silkie rooster that is 5 months old. I need to get rid of him, which I don't want to do, but my neighbors don't care for his crowing. He doesn't crow all day but I live on the lagoon so it echo's. He is free to anyone with a good home. He is really sweet to. edited by staff...

    Thank you. I'll just let her be. I can't have a rooster in Alameda and with my luck if I let her hatch and egg, it would be a boy. She'll get over it.

    Thank you. I think my Daisy is different from most leghorns. When she first started laying, she was doing the same thing. She seems to be very determined to sit on the eggs. Maybe she has Spring fever.
