What is the size difference in Serama vs Old English bantam? I have a darling little rooster but I have no idea what breed he is for sure. I am sure he is one or the other :)
I have a similar situation. Mine are also different ages. but, they aren't that far off in size. I'm starting to integrate a little while holding them. So far, they are doing really great. I also think the older ones help to teach the younger ones to eat. If there is no mama to do it. IMHO

We've recently moved from the city to 13+ acres. We are close to a pretty big town but are out far enough to have the space.
We have young chickens that are "free range" but we still lock them up at night.
