    It worked great. After two days of ACV, all symptoms went away. Not sure if it was a cure or not, but I'll continue using it.

    I had similar problems with one of my 1 year old hens and Apple Cider Vinegar seemed to work great. It was suggested to me on this forum and the folks at the farm supply near my house said that they also use ACV in their chick's water too.

    ddawn - thanks for your comments. I am pretty much thinking the same thing - taking a sample to the vet. Also thinking of starting the entire flock on ACV (or maybe that would worsen the problem??). I will add to this post if I get to the bottom of this (pun intended). -joshg
