Quick update...I ended up giving them away because I didn't need any more roosters. Funny thing is, they are both hens! I was sure they were roosters but both were VERY attractive to the rooster at their new home and are now laying eggs. Them Wyandottes sure can be hard to sex.
Hi guys! I'm very new to chickens (this is my first year having them). I am clueless on what this could be and hoping all you knowledgeable folks can give me an idea on what to do.
I had a hen a few weeks back who appeared to have an injured wing. It was like she couldn't hold it up. I tried...
Awesome! Yes the barred one is definetly all boy. No question on that one lol. These wyandottes were throwing me for a loop for some reason though. Thank you all so much for helping me clear that up!
Thank you all! So is that what I should be looking at? The tail feathers? These guys threw me because they look an awful lot like a couple BLRW pullets I've seen so I wasn't sure.
I'm hoping someone can help me sex these two Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. I was convinced they were cockerals but now I'm not so sure. What do you all think?[/IMG][/IMG]
