I wonder if the head/crest attracting pecks is also hurting my cream brabanter's acclimation? Not only is she the smallest but she also has quite a hairdo on her.
They all actually roost on the three lower areas, rather than the upper area (no roosts up there). I've never considered the dowels being too thin or too close to the wall but I can easily install new ones to give it a try! I always thought they like huddling together for warmth, 3 or 4 usually...
