    Yup, Gingerbread is definitely a cockerel as expected. He started crowing a couple of weeks ago. Good news is my friend is going to adopt him and once they’re all set up, we’ll tranfer Gingerbread over to his new home. Here are some updated pictures of Snowflake. Do you think it’s a pullet?

    Thank you so much all for your expert advice. Sadly we’ll have to give Gingerbread away . Hopefully one of my friends can adopt him so at least we can visit him every now and then. I will post more pictures of Snowflake in 2 weeks time. Thanks again

    Hi, I am new to silkies. My kids got given 2 baby silkies for their Christmas presents. I am hoping if someone could tell me if I have a hen or a rooster. They are both 10 weeks old, I am suspecting Gingerbread (grey) is a roo because it is nearly double the size of Snowflake (white)...
