I’m preparing to open my own roadside egg stand and I am not sure if I should wash the eggs before I sell them or sell unwashed eggs?
Do people have a preference?
I realize if washed they will need to be refrigerated, but that’s what led me to this question. I’ve seen some...
Oh lord have mercy. You mean to tell me 3 of the 4 are cockerels?! I was supposed to have 2 sapphire olive egger pullets and 2 Easter egger pullets.. that’s what I get for feed store chicks I suppose.
I’ve only raised ISA browns and barred rocks for the past 2 years. However this spring at the feed store I spotted some Easter egger and Sapphire Olive egger chicks and couldn’t resist.
Now I’m not sure who is who and one I suspect to be a possible rooster. There is a large red Easter egger...
