    Huh - What should I do if he's not showing interest in the scrambled eggs? He's pecking around... just ignoring them. I tried to hold him and put some near/on the tip of his beak, hoping he'd take a nibble, but he wouldn't.

    Thanks very much - I'll get some right away (he's been getting sugar water in the mean-time). And scrambled eggs is a great idea.

    One of our cochin hens hatched 5 baby chicks and then abandoned the rest of the nest. Problem was, they weren't done hatching - yesterday morning I went in the coop to find two babies had hatched on their own and were cold and near-dead... I got them under a heat lamp immediately, not expecting...
