I am not sure, I am still a student so I do not have an income and I think my parents might be willing to take her if it gets worse but I am not sure. But I do think the epsom salt baths are working a little bit. She is still limping but just not as heavily. She tries her best not to move on her...
Sorry, do you have any suggestions on how to do that? I have been soaking her in the salt baths with her duck friends nearby and she is still very feisty around me. I put her in a see through bucket once and she just flew out. I dont know how else I should try to keep her from moving around much.
I think it is an opening. I have been soaking her in epsom salt water everyday for the past couple of days and I also poured some hydrogen peroxide where it was swollen. She has not gotten much better. I tried to confine her in a bucket because I recently built a pen for them but it is not ready...
Ok, thank you so much! I will try that! But it does not look broken right? When I picked her up I was a bit surprised about how swollen it looked so I am a little worried. I was looking at the toe and I could not tell if it was a scab or dirt, and she would not let me touch it without flailing...
Hi everyone,
I have five female Pekin ducks and I noticed that one of my ducks has been limping for the past couple of days. I read that ducks heal fast so I was hoping that she would just heal on her own but today the limp was extremely severe and she was barely walking. I picked her up and...
She is doing much better thank you! She was much more active yesterday, however still lagging behind the rest of the ducks. I have not been able to get the vitamin b complex yet, but I am going to go to tractor supply today to pick some up.
I have not checked yet, but it looked to me that she was not really limping. I will check tomorrow to make sure! Also, I am not sure if she started laying eggs yet. I have only find one egg per day left inside the coop after they are let out in the morning, but I don't know who the egg belongs to.
Thank you for the suggestion! I will try to pick some up as soon as I can! Sorry, but am I supposed to get the one found it at a pharmacy? Because it seems the ones at tractor supply seem to be for other animals.

I have five female pekin ducks who are all around seven months old. However recently I've noticed that one duck has been acting lethargic and seems to...
