    Thank you. We have a large dog and when I noticed a hen in the yard, I honestly thought she would be attacked by the dog. The dog ignores her (apart from trying to stick her nose in the hens butt from time to time) The chicken to my surprise will eat out of the dog bowl while the dog watches...

    Sounds about right. (The walking vending machine!) She screams and carries on with all these weird sounds at the back door until i grab the oats.

    Hi everyone, I'm from Wollongong NSW and I was adopted by a stray hen 5 weeks ago. She was identified as a Rhode Island Red. Started laying eggs daily around 2.5 weeks ago.

    Hi everyone, I had a chicken (hen) fly into my yard about 5 weeks ago. A friend identified her as a Rhode Island Red. I have never owned a chicken before and no one has come to claim her. She has made a temp home for herself on a tallboy/dresser shelf in the shed. She started to lay eggs around...
