    Sorry not posted for a while, still no earring! Kept chicken in a pen of her own for a while but nothing came out! now pursuing insurance who will pay out for another one, just taking their time. Kippy the chicken still as a dodgy leg not sure if it's anything to do with pinching the earring...

    Just an update on the diamond pincher! Went into their pen today and I'm really concerned, kippi the chicken leg as literally twisted to a 90 deg angle thus walking really strange not sure what to do :( do I take her to the vet? I think I have little choice, she's eating ok but I don't want her...

    Chicken in confinement and the poop prodding continues, might get her X-rayed in the next few days if nothing pops out!

    Spoke to the vet, she said basically to confine the chicken and check dropping for a few days then have her xrayed. So yesterday I spent the day with the metal detector which didn't even seem to work that well and nothing! So the wait is on....

    Petting my chickens today my 4mth old Plymouth Rock pinched my new earring, I very concerned for my chicken and diamond, any idea on how long it takes to pass? I'm not 100% she got it but having searched the pen for hrs I presume she consumed it. I'm hiring a metal detector tomorrow just in case...
