Or maybe you are trying to tell me it’s a lash egg/tumor and nothing can be done? I didn’t know chickens could live that long with lash egg complications but I read they can sometimes live up to 6 months. If there’s nothing that can be done that’s fine. I just wanted to try if it were...
Oh ok. Wouldn’t she have to be pooping if it’s been over 2 weeks? Probably 3? I went on vacation for a week after I found this problem and I have already been back for a week. I didn’t think she’d be alive when I got back. And she’s acting fine besides standing and walking a little...
We have 4 or 5 white leghorns between 2-5 years old. They are molting right now so I wouldn’t know for sure if she is laying, but I doubt it. Like I said it’s been weeks and she’d be dead if she wasn’t eating, drinking and pooping. I have had others lay lash eggs. This does not feel the same...

So I had to cull him today. It just wasn’t getting any better. I cut into the area and this is what I got. Anyone know what this is? I’m guessing some kind of tumor but I don’t know. The last picture I cut the piece open.

His eyeball looks healthy. It was so much blood! It was pouring out on to the floor, coming out of his mouth and his nose. We’ve also found blood clots and lots of mucus in his mouth. I don’t have any idea what this is and we are starting to think about culling him. He is a Bresse and a...
