    Yes It's alright for chickens to do this. I have 5 hens, and all of them lay in one box.

    My Chickens do free range, and when it's time, I put them back. I usually put them back in a pen, and let them out for 1-2 hours in the afternoon.

    I have 3 roosters and 5 hens, All of the hens are 1 1/2 years old and the roosters are about 2 yrs.

    Two of my hens are getting bald patches near their tails, and one has a really big bald patch. I know why they are getting them, and not because of parasites, because my roosters randomly jump on the hens and start pecking their feathers off. I don't want this to end up in the roosters killing...

    Rooster problem

    Well, It might be a problem, and its always best to separate the roosters sometimes because I have 3 roosters and whenever they have the chance, they jump on the hens, ripping their feathers off.

    yes to me it is absolutely normal. When I got my chicks, they were scared of me too, but as they grew up, they let me touch them, pick them up, and pet them.

    I am so annoyed at that hawk! I have 8 chickens total, 3 roos, and 5 hens. But then a hawk started coming and now from today, two are coming, the new one is bigger than the last one, and now my poor chickens can't even free range anymore! also I have read reviews about how the motion sensing owl...
