    This reminds me of my Grandma. I guess she doesn't like furry little varmits. One day we were out gardening and she saw a gopher. She took the shovel and chopped of his head! I was speechless. She was quick!

    I have new chicks! I am up hand feeding a cross beaked chick right now . She was my favorite, of course! The rest are lovely.

    Hot weather

    You can set out frozen water bottles for them or put ice in their waterer. Or mist them like California Chick said. Mine love the sprinkler. I did these things last summer when it got hot like that here.

    I have a girl that I think is a BO and she lays larger, pink tinted eggs like that. Ooops, maybe the EE. sorry But they look exactly like the eggs I get from that girl.
