    New hen beat up by older hens...

    One of my hens got beat up by another hen. One of her eyes is closed. The swelling has gone down, but she cant see too good with one eye. Is there any way I can open her eye lid without hurting her too much?

    Oh, I'm sure I will be spending a lot of time with them. I dont have them yet, probably Sunday. The local feed store has lots of different kinds, and ducklings too. Cant wait to get them.

    Thanks! Not sure what kind of chickens I'm gonna get yet. I want some chicks, but not real small ones. I want to raise them to be friendly.

    Hey, I'm new here. Gonna pick up a chicken coop this weekend and get a few chickens. And 1 baby duck! they are so cute.
