    I appreciate every ones help with The Colonel, but sadly his skin has just gotten worse. We have decided to put him down so he will no longer have to go through the pain. Thank you everyone who commented and replied to help him out.

    One of his waddles is extremely swollen and has no color. On the tip you can see fatty tissue and looks extremely dark. What does that mean and is there anything we could do?

    We flushed it really well and were able to get a lot of the blood off with the q-tips. One of his eyes looks punctured but the other is swollen and we are unable to tell. After we put triple antibiotic ointment. He wont eat or drink on his own since he cant see, but we used a syringe to give him...

    That was just taken now. His nostrils are still blocked slightly, so he is most likely breathing through his mouth. He is still taking deep breaths and it still sounds like someone with a stuffy nose when they try to breathe in through their nose.

    He is able to stand up on his own, but we kept him in a smaller space to reduce the chances of him injury himself further. We tried not to put the lamp too close.

    The only injuries are on his head. The inside of his beaks is normal, we have just been trying to keep his nostrils clear. We have kept him under the heat with a blanket to make sure he is warm. We just got some electrolytes and we have saline to flush the wounds.

    Last night my rooster was attacked by a raccoon and almost scalped. Both of his eyes are closed and he has a huge cut going from the back of his comb to right behind the eye.     African geese gender

    Due to the crooked neck it is hard to tell which is taller than the other. The one with a crooked neck is larger overall, but the other is the only one showing signs of a knob. I also know that the normal one has a deeper more defined honk than the other

    He eats and drinks normally. It doesn't cause him any pain, but his tail is crooked as well.

    One of our african geese has a crooked neck. They didn't have it when we bought them, but he developed it over time. Even his tail is crooked. He is unable to stretch his neck straight, but it does not seem to bother him in any way. Has anybody seen this before or do you know what is wrong?

    African geese gender

    I have two African that we got from a local feed store. None of them were sexed and we are not skilled enough to sex them ourselves. They have not matured, but I would love to know now.
