    12 week old sexing

    These chicks are 12 weeks old. Looking for input while waiting for eggs or crows playing the guessing game. I am getting very hopeful that these 5 are girls. What do you think?

    Update on the Easter Egger. He started big boy crowing. Definitely a cockerel and finding a new flock. We will see if anymore boys are hiding out. No significant changes or stand out characteristics in any of the others

    My son's class hatched these from eggs, but good to know for future reference. I knew I would have some cockerels when I agreed to take them. Just was hoping not the EE once I identified the breeds I had. One day I'll add to the group and will remember this info!

    I'll keep an eye on that one. I did think that at first. The feathers are quite fluffed in the photo. It is actually a very lean bird and similar in size and feel to the other chicks. Thanks!
