UPDATE: Still a problem with my pullet. still seeking help! She’s super stopped up and I’m going to start feeding her Greek yogurt and cinnamon in hopes that she can proses that. I’ll have you know that her crop is in fact bulbous and fills my entire hand when held.
Thank you for all the information! Whenever I take away her food for a night or day, her crop doesn’t empty. It’s very balloon like and probably the size of a tennis ball in my hands. I’m on my way outside to check on her again :) I think she’s about seven weeks old, so yeah she’s still just a baby.
It is so worth it! I love the pullets and they’ve all got their own little personalities! Thankfully, compared to how many we have, we have very few issues. I only have two that I am worried about out of 28 of the egg layers, so that’s good!
