I had a roo who got attacked and ripped neck muscles. He could not lift his neck, and he could not for 3 weeks. I had to tube feed him, and monitor him constantly. He was up and running after a month. Point is, with his neck not working , the muscles may just be really weak. Keep updated!!
That is. NOT the only way!! You can trap it, and transport it to a conservation area far away. Far away is preferred, but 10 to 20 miles is ok. Make sure no pests get in. I once had a chicken that was attacked by a fox, and maggots got in it and ate away the flesh attaching the skin to the neck...
He is doing great!!!! He can put weight on his leg, and sit normally! He can wobble-walk for a short distance, and has his neck back to full strength!!
