    New Flock

    The blue names are boys and the pink are girls. I went to chick days today and got 5 porcelain D'uccles I haven't named all of the yet but here are the ones I named. Also we got a few silkies. :)

    Heat lamp went out. 7 chicks banny chicks died.

    This might sound kind of cruel but after owning chickens for awhile you get used to them coming and going, their fragile and their deaths are often. After awhile you kind of get used to it.

    No problem I'm glad to help! Just make sure when you pick them up not to squeeze them, don't pick them up to fast, and after they eat or drink be really careful when you pick them up.:)

    We hatched quail one time and my mom got a new heat lamp and overnight they all died from getting to hot. They were practically cooked. Sorry for your loss, I know how it feels.
