Thanks, we use live traps placed around the coup for the coons and have the coups made out of thick wood (personally milled) and heavy duty fencing wire fully enclosing the run attached to boards dug 2 feet into the ground. After so many years we've learned our lesson.
No this is 100% a reaction to the freshly hatched duckling and happened within a hour of holding it. It didn't poop on her or anything. She regularly handles the grown ducks and cleans the coups without a issue. But held that baby duck and boom hives like crazy.

We recently hatched a duckling and almost immediately after holding it my wife developed itchy hives, she's not allergic to anything else so it must be something to do with the duckling.
