    So her drainage is not thick, it is definitely thin. Even when I say she “bleeds” in some areas of the abscess during dressing changes, most of the time it is watered down blood if that makes sense. At times she does truly bleed though.     This is her leg abscess. Believe it or not it does look a lot better. The swelling has gone down greatly also.
