    No obvious impaction or hardness in its crop. feels soft/doughy. no foul smell. could a crop issue get so dramatic so quick. it was acting fine a couple hours before. now it can't barely move. no drinking. just laying there lifeless and breathing. opens eyes every once in a while.

    Awe thanks! I think they are gorgeous. Spent the evening hanging with the non-quack duo with new eyes after all this dialog and Flea def has thicker legs and is bigger with less feathers. HE/she falls in mid sprint all the time, is lazier and more of a lover actually. Corkey is more active...

    That's my guess too! Their personalities fit with many of the other things I researched online. The only thing that makes me doubt is they are about the same size. Supposedly the males should be noticeable bigger by now. Time will tell. Thanks for your guess and the article

    No idea really. I have noticed the darker line where the face meets feathers come recently. I will go inspect closer. I'm researching and considering maybe Mulard. Cross between Muscovy and Peking done for meat. Since that's what they were fated for before we adopted the lucky devils.

    That's what I was thinking. I guess if I see any Carnucles form I will know. No signs yet. If only they'd tell me if they are male or female! Maybe Magpie cross as guessed above, but they are BIG.

    Thanks. Mine sit at our door and peep non stop. But the sound hasn't changed. They are like puppies with the separation anxiety! They go from one door to the other and sleep on the doorstep until we come hang out.
