With the hard part of the beak pulled up and off of what I'm assuming is a muscle underneath will that actually heal? Will she grow a new beak? It's been 5 days now and the beak is definitely still lifted up off the under part. Poor thing 😞
My 18 month old Wyandotte Vivian has sustained an injury to her to beak - appears it has pulled up and off of the Quik, it appears somewhat torn closer to the nostral area.
This happened late yesterday, I found her in the coop about an hour before they usually go to bed, clearly in shock. I...
@casportpony update me chicks are nearing 48 hours on corid and I'm seeing improvement! Weighed all the girls today and the smalls that we're struggling gained 0.3 ounces just like the big girls (I'm taking that as a good sign). I have still witnessed some diarrhea, however some of the droppings...

Droppings are about the same - yellow foamy-ish but I do...

I'm a first time chicken momma and I'm terrified! Help please I'm desperate 😭 I have 14 day Old wyandotte chicks. I noticed 2 were very small, I saw yellow foamy-ish droppings and one girl lays slightly on her side and is a tad less active.
I suspect coccidia so begin corid 20% at 1.5 teaspoons...
