    First timer here! Our pullets (1 RIR, 1BA, 1GLW, 1SS, 1BR) are 22-23 weeks and we just got our first egg this morning from the black australorp! We're so excited - had to share. Any predictions on who will follow and how long we'll have to wait? The suspense is killing me!!!

    Thanks, Sylie. Are wattle buds abnormal for a 5 week old hen? If so, I may have more than one roo...My RIR has similar wattles AND thick legs too...Plus she's been walking all over the others...
