    There was no blood at all surprising but thank god cause I don’t knw what I would have done lol And he seems like he wants to get up but just can’t. Does it take a while for them to really move around? I never thought they could drown, I’ve done so much research but never saw this one coming...

    Man your telling me! The other 2 were ok besides one hatch out of the wrong end and I had to end up helping after I waited as long as possible and they both are running around happy as can be❤️

    Lol well I feel crazy now lol but I was so worried. So could the umbilical cord still be attached? It’s very small and coming from the stuff from the shell to his navel?

    Yes, this is what it looks like now, I did put a dry rag in there for him to lay on to be comfortable but he keeps moving off of it. I really hope he’s ok. But I dnt knw what’s wrong with his butt now..

    I know, I’ve heard of the stories and it’s definitely a lot of work and thank you so much but I’m definitely the one that panics lol. I’m hoping he will make it too. He is moving more and chirping again just seems a like weak

    Some of the yolk is in the shell at the bottom near his feet. Do I just leave him and keep watching him?

    Yes first time. But he’s my 3rd duckling to hatch. The other two are doin amazing ❤️

    I knw they supposed to absorb it but for some reason he didn’t. His butt doesn’t look normal but I’ve seen some pictures of what his looks like but not sure what to do about it

    He stoped breathing and chirping and was in a lot of fluid. I was able to get him to breathe, but it wasn’t much and then he stopped again so that’s when I did cpr on him. Now he’s moving and chirping but he seems very weak

    He wasn’t breathing, he was fine hatching on his own at first but then he started drowning in his 28, he piped the air sac on day 26, everything seemed fine and he had piped the shell yesterday and was chirping and seemed to be doin fine
