    Old male guinea and a young one

    I bought an old male guinea a week ago and I'm training him to return to my chicken tractor by penning him up for at least another week. I have an opportunity to buy 3 hens and another cock. I'm concerned that the old guy will beat up the young guy. Any suggestions.

    Chickens not laying

    We got our chickens a week ago. We've had chickens before. We were told that it may take them a couple of days to start laying. We've only gotten 3 eggs in 7 days. We are feeding what the previous owner fed, layer crumbles and cracked corn along with vegetable scraps.
